Getting a conversation into Eigma
The Ingest tab is where conversations become wiki pages. Your own chatbot does the writing, so the ideas arrive in the words you learned them in and the conversation stays with you. There are two ways in, and the first one is recommended.
The short way: connect your chatbot once
Connect ChatGPT, Claude or a coding agent to Eigma once and you never copy anything again. In your chatbot, add a custom connector, name it Eigma, and give it this address:

Sign in with your Eigma account when it asks, and allow the connection. Every chatbot buries that setting somewhere different, and the menus move around, so for the exact clicks in yours follow the illustrated walkthrough: Connect your assistant. It takes about a minute, once.
After that, in any conversation, just say save this to Eigma. Your chatbot writes the pages and sends them over, and they wait for you in the Messages tab of Ingest. A connected chatbot can also look things up in your wiki and propose fixes to pages you already have, which the chapter on making pages and chapters your own covers.
The manual way: copy and paste
No account yet, or a chatbot you cannot connect? The Manual tab does the same job in three steps.
- Press Copy. Eigma builds a prompt from your current wiki and copies it for you.
- Paste that prompt into your chatbot at the end of the conversation you want to keep, and send it.
- Paste the reply back into Eigma.
Either way, what your chatbot receives carries a picture of the wiki you already have. That is what lets it fit new ideas into your framework, filing them under related topics instead of scattering or repeating them. If you want something particular out of a conversation, say so in My instruction first: ask for more quizzes, for diagrams, or for the exact phrasings if you are learning a language.
Nothing is saved until you say so
Eigma shows each page as a candidate for you to look over, and nothing joins your wiki until you press Add to wiki. A badge on each one says what it will do:

For any candidate you can change where it files, merge it into a page you pick, or discard it.
Common questions
Where do I find the steps for my own chatbot? The connection guide walks through ChatGPT, Claude and coding agents. If your menus do not match, ask the chatbot itself how to add a custom MCP server and follow along.
What if the result looks wrong? Discard that candidate, or send it somewhere better. Since nothing is saved until you press Add to wiki, a bad suggestion costs you nothing.

New knowledge joins the framework you already have, so a topic you return to gets deeper instead of scattering into separate notes.
