Your wiki, organized and easy to navigate

Eigma aims for a wiki you would be glad to own: each page a single, clear idea, written like a short encyclopedia entry. A few steady habits keep it clean, and the views below keep it easy to navigate as it grows.

One page, one concept

Eigma keeps the concepts, mechanisms and principles worth owning, and drops what you would just look up again: one-off numbers, to-dos, small talk. So a long chat may become a few tight pages rather than a full transcript. When new material belongs on a page you already have, it arrives as a new section with its source noted, instead of overwriting what is there.

Two ways to browse

The Home screen is a slowly rotating globe of your pages, each one a glowing point. The pages you have internalized least surface first, so what needs attention finds you. Tap a point to open that page, and drag to rotate the globe. The Wiki tab shows the same pages as a chapter tree, for when you would rather browse by structure than by memory. There you can also create a page or a chapter yourself, drag pages to reorder them or move them to another chapter, and recover anything you deleted from the Trash.

Pages link themselves

While you read, concepts that already have a page of their own quietly become links at their first mention. Click one to jump straight there, or, on a computer, hover for a moment and a small card shows you its summary first. Nothing is written into your text, which is why a page you wrote in spring starts pointing at pages you added in autumn.

Volumes

Your wiki is split into volumes, with one active at a time, listed on the Bookshelf in the Wiki tab. When a volume fills up, Eigma suggests shelving it and starting a fresh one. Shelved volumes become read only and stop coming up for review, but you can reload any of them whenever you like. From the shelf you can delete a volume, or publish it to the community as a public, read only copy on eigma.app.

Common questions

Why did my long chat become just two pages? Eigma kept the lasting ideas and dropped the throwaway parts. Less to store, more that is worth keeping.

Why does that page keep showing up first? Because it is among your least internalized. The globe surfaces what you are closest to forgetting.
