Getting started

Eigma turns the conversations you already have with ChatGPT or Claude into a wiki you own, and brings each page back before you forget it. Here is the five minutes it takes to set up.

Connecting your chatbot

The address for each chatbot, and the clicks to add it. One minute per chatbot, once. After that you connect nothing again: you just say what you want in a chat.

What is on a page

A page is the unit of your wiki: a summary, the text itself, the questions that test you on it, and the record of how well you know it. Here is every part of one, and what you can do to it.

Chapters, moving and deleting

Wiki Contents groups every page you are working on into chapters, and marks what just arrived, what changed and what clashed. It fills itself as your assistant files pages, so this is about the times you want to take it over by hand.

Undo, history and the Trash

Eigma keeps four separate ways back: an undo on the page you are editing, the last ten versions of every page, an undo for whole imports, and a Trash that holds deleted pages for thirty days. Here is which one you want, and where each one stops.

Volumes and the bookshelf

A volume is one book of your wiki: the one Eigma reviews you on, files new pages into, and draws the memory state graph from. Shelving, reloading, renaming, deleting and publishing, and when it is worth closing the current one.

How Eigma decides you know something

Troubleshooting

Your assistant will not connect, cannot see your wiki, or a page you expected never arrived. Nine fixes, most of them a setting rather than a fault, and how to reach a person if none of them match.
